About the producer
Piercarlo Culasso's passion for winemaking stems from his family's legacy, passed down through generations. Inheriting the Faset Cru vineyard in Barbaresco from his grandfather Modesto and father Dante, Piercarlo spent years meticulously caring for the vines, though initially selling the grapes to other prestigious cellars. In 2017, with the support of his family, he established the Piercarlo Culasso Winery and produced his first vintage of Barbaresco. Piercarlo and his children Martina, Michela, and Marco oversee every aspect of production, from vineyard work to cellar management. Their goal is simple: to minimize intervention and let the terroir speak for itself.
