Sara started D&P Selezioni USA after spending 12 years with Matteo Correggia experiencing all areas of the family business. She has long represented this winery in the United States and has the experience, passion and multicultural experience to fully understand the needs and expectations of both the importers and producers creating a strong bridge between the old and new world. In her limited free time, she also worked with Italian national importer and distributor Pietro Pellegrini, giving her the chance to work directly with leading wine producers and clients all over Italy. She is based in Piedmont and oversees all export operations while managing communication between our American partners.

With 20 years in the wine world, Crystal Whitcroft's journey has taken her from the vineyards of Italy to the cellars of Asia and back to the U.S. She was previously the Vice President of Sales at Italian Wine Merchants, where she worked with passionate collectors across the globe. Before that, she explored Asia’s emerging wine scene as the Regional Cellarmaster for Aman Resorts and was part of the team that brought Kerry Wines to life in China and Hong Kong. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, Crystal holds certifications from both the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. She oversees relationships with our import partners in the US and UK, ensuring each producer finds the right fit. With a focus on tailored promotions and strategic market positioning, Crystal is dedicated to giving our wines optimal platforms to shine.

Born in Italy and raised in Los Angeles, her journey blends Italian heritage with an American spirit. While at UCLA, she discovered the world of wine under the guidance of an esteemed Italian wine producer. She has executed a wide range of responsibilities to become marketing manager for both an American wine importer and a high-end Italian wine shop. In 2014, she relocated to Italy to pursue a master’s in international relations with a focus on wine export, and received a WSET level three certificate with distinction and became AIS Sommelier. Driven by storytelling, she cane share fragments of Italian history and culture worldwide using wine as a vessel for their untold stories.
