About the producer
Situated across the Tanaro River from the Langhe region, Alberto faced a distinct challenge: crafting exceptional Nebbiolo wines from Roero without directly competing with those of the Langhe. This challenge served as his primary source of inspiration and motivation. Alberto's affinity for Roero was ignited in 2009, when he undertook the restoration of his family's ancestral house and cellar, inheriting his grandfather's cherished vineyards in the process. Demonstrating unwavering dedication, Alberto meticulously tends to every aspect of grape cultivation and winemaking, often with minimal assistance.
